István is a developer advocate with a main focus on application security. He comes from an enterprise software development background, but to follow his passion he transitioned to the open-source world. István is the creator and maintainer of the 4.x version of the CSRFGuard project. His professional interests are around cybersecurity, automation, software development, and software architecture. Currently he is the DevSec Education Head at Project Discovery, where they produce the open-source nuclei scanner and security automation solutions for hackers and developers
